Brando Chacon is a Registered Dietitian who began his career in Clinical Nutrition in 2025 after earning his Master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition from the University at Buffalo. Before transitioning into the clinical setting, he completed a Bachelor of Science at Rutgers University, where he earned a double major in Environmental Science and Public Health. It was during this time that his passion for helping others and promoting healthier communities first began to take shape.

Brando went on to spend over two years in nutrition education, leading group classes and one-on-one sessions, where he developed a strong interest in helping people make practical, positive changes to improve their health. His background in science and public health continues to inform his client-centered approach to nutrition. He believes healthy eating should feel approachable and flexible, and he prioritizes building trust and strong relationships to create personalized strategies that support each client’s goals and lifestyle. Brando is also fluent in Spanish and values the opportunity to support clients in both English and Spanish.

Outside of nutrition, Brando enjoys sports, live music, and traveling. Exploring new cultures and cuisines is one of his favorite ways to learn and stay inspired, often influencing his approach to food and nutrition.
